    Very Engaging!

I just finished Death of Television by Conal O’Brien. I really loved the first book Birth of the Angel, but loved this second one even more. Death of Television will grab you and pull you in with all its twists and turns as the pace rapidly quickens to a very surprise ending. A really fun, beautifully crafted read!

    Five out of Five Stars

I wasn't expecting this to be a great book, I was wrong. I was kept guessing as to who the bad guys were. Kind of a blockbuster ending. The Gardner Museum thefts are the pivotal draw in this series, considering I'm from Massachusetts. Kudos to Conal O'Brien.

Keeps you observing, thinking and enjoying

Multigenerational, many-charactered international intrigue. New Yorkers will recognize familiar places wherein unfamiliar events take place. Hollywood should pick this up and make a movie out of these books.

The best of books I have read

Amazing books - couldn't put them down. I can't wait for the next to come out. I loved how visual the writing is - I felt like I was right there with the characters.

    Gripping and fast-paced!

I loved book two! Without giving any spoilers away, you are completely surprised at the end; and as a New Yorker, I love how the book follows places I know and frequent. I love the overall premise, following the stolen objects from the Gardner Museum in Boston, and being set in current times means that germophobe investigator Artemis Bookbinder (and the others) have to deal with the on-going pandemic. Conal O'Brien's writing is very cinematic and you feel as if you are sailing through these books. Enjoy!
